A City In The Darkness

Redwind is a large city comprised of some 2.5 million souls. The state in which Redwind resides is not important, so mind your business! The city is split into several districts which are detailed below. Locations of note are detailed in each District’s description.

Eddenrow
The Urban center of Redwind is by far the most dangerous sector of the city, and is rife with criminal activity. It is here that the true dregs of society huddle, lurking in the deep shadows of countless alleys, preying upon those weak or foolish enough to linger here long.

Uncle Scrappy’s Junkyard: The hideout and headquarters of the nefarious Rusted Hook Boys street gang, this Junkyard also acts as a chopshop where stolen cars are taken, stripped and sold.

The Antique Boutique: This small, cluttered store acts as Haven to its proprietor, the Nosferatu known as Toad, who specializes in all manner of strange and occult paraphernalia. Somehow, the antique store remains untouched by the near-constant violence that grips Eddenrow…

Reaver’s Stadium: The Redwind Reaver football Stadium lies in the heart of the depressed district of Eddenrow, covered on all sides by poverty and graft despite the piles of wealth the football team generates for the city.

Silverhelm Heights
The financial  district of Redwind teems with businesses and services that cater to the elite. World class restaurants, hotels and the trappings of the upper class are the hallmarks of this privileged District. Kindred who wish to make their Haven in this District must have the Rich Edge.

Barrington Tower: The international headquarters of Barrington shipping is the tallest skyscraper in the city, dominating the skyline of Redwind and casting a deep shadow on the rest of the city. The Ventrue Elder Beverly Barrington’s seat of power.

The Gavelbrook Hotel: The most expensive Hotel in all of Redwind houses the exceedingly wealthy Bianca Giovanni and her cadre of assistants.

Westvane
The Academic and cultural center of Redwind houses several historic buildings and universities. The cerebral capital of Redwind, this District is the oldest in the city. The political heart of Redwind resides in this District.

Crowlark Clock Tower: This Victorian clock tower secretly houses Redwind’s Chantry, where practitioners of Blood Magic gather to exchange learning and trade secrets.

Saint Aveline Memorial Hospital: A top of the line medical facility for those who can afford top notch care, the hospital was scandalized 56 years ago when famed Doctor Tymon Gorny was discovered experimenting and abusing patients in the psychiatric ward of the hospital. Some claim the ghost of the man haunts the place still…

Pellingmorrow Theater: This historic opera house has long since been closed down and turned into a cultural landmark. It is here that the Daeva Primogen Fawn Copperstone has made her Haven, and occasionally puts on shows for the city’s Kindred where she displays the astonishing potency of her singing voice.

Rook Crest
The industrial heart of the city is a smog-shrouded nightmare of factories, warehouses and long abandoned train yards.

Ten Ends Trainyard: Long since shut down after a massive railway accident, the trainyard is a tangled stretch of derelict train cars and twisted, rusted steel. It is here that Galgan, the Arch-Lich of Redwind makes his Haven and claims Domain.

Lindlewood: This once-idealistic neighborhood has been cleared out entirely due to the poisoning of the local water supply by the nearby factories that brazenly pump their waste into the drinking supply. Once filled with families of those employed by the ever-churning factories of the Industrial District, the houses now lay abandoned and are often ideal locations for squatters.

Bronze Quarter
The legendary Bronze Quarter is the lively District that houses Redwind’s Rack. The Kine pack street after street of nightspots and strip clubs while the eager Kindred stalk the shadows in wait.

Hades Halls: One of the most frequented Kindred nightspots is the infamous Hades Halls. Kindred owned and operated, this Ghoul-Staffed establishment houses a complete underground basement level that acts as Elysium and the seat of the Prince’s power. Numerous underground hidden entrances allow the Kindred of Redwind access to the safety of their Elysium.

Lagmont Apartments: A decrepit and crumbling structure filled with small micro-apartments. Otherwise unremarkable, save for housing the Haven of the Spectri Dagny Castone.

Thornwick
The Barrens of Redwind reside in this District. Scattered suburban neighborhoods dot the landscape, and this is the most desolate and sparsely populated sector of the city.

Signey Lake: Campgrounds and mobile homes dot the acres of land surrounding Lake Signey, which has long been considered a place of ill-omen. The immediate areas around the lake play host to the meetings of the Cult of Jagged Flesh, a small circle of devotees to the charismatic Gangrel known only as Hollander.

Atwall Estate: In this immense gated Haven resides the Ventrue Simon Atwall, along with his acres of land and endless assembly of horses, falcons and hounds. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, the Ventrue prefers the tranquility of nature, despite its dangers.
